APPELATION: Bergamasca Protected Geographic Indication, Red
FIRST YEAR OF PRODUCTION: 2010
VARIETY: 70% Merlot 30% Cabernet Sauvignon
VINEYARD POSITION: hills located in Tagliuno di Castelli Calepio (BG) 250mt sea level
CULTIVATION SYSTEM: spurred cordon
PLANT DENSITY: 4.500 vines per hectare
YIELD PER HECTARE: 600/700 kilograms of grapes per hectare
SOIL: clayey with rocks substratum
VINEYARD AGE: 25/35 years 
HARVESTING: harvested by hand in small crates
WINEMAKING:  produceexclusively in best vintages. soft destemming, steel winemaking in temperature controlled around 28°/30° C. About 10 to 12 days maceration on skins, with some pumping and delestages. Malolactic in steel.
REFINEMENT: after malolactic fermentation, wine passes to second passage french oak tonneaux  for 12/14 months. Bottling and 3 months refinement in bottle before commercialization.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13,5%
